 SRP  regain power in Mesa


About 80,000 customers were without power as the noon fire at the Thunderstone substation damaged at least one transformer and overloaded SRP's system within Mesa.
As demand climbed during the afternoon with higher temperatures, which produced rolling outages affecting homes and businesses.

Also was working to deliver bags of ice to Fry's locations by 7 p.m. that included stores at Recker and McKellips roads; Lindsay and Broadway roads; Power and Baseline roads; and Ellsworth and Broadway roads.
